To combat my never-ending stream of negative self-talk, I decided to dive headfirst into a sea of positive affirmations – listening to an absurd amount of uplifting meditations. Simultaneously, I indulged in sketching some crustaceans while binging trashy TV shows with my partner.
And that's how my 'Crusty Crustaceans' were born.
By the zodiac, I'm a crab, and I'm incredibly allergic to shellfish.
So, the only safe way for me to express my deep affection for these underwater wonders was by pouring my heart and all my positive affirmations into these digital illustrations on my trusty iPad. Drawing is therapy.
